How to Receive Your Belgian Malinois Puppy at the Airport

Getting your new Belgian Malinois puppy is an exciting time. To make sure everything goes smoothly, just follow these easy steps. This way, you can pick up your puppy without any hassle.

Step 1: Receive Your Flight Details

Once you’ve booked your puppy for delivery, we’ll send you the following information to get you ready for your new furry friend.

Airline name (typically United Airlines or American Airlines)
Flight number and arrival time
Air waybill / tracking number
Pickup location instructions (cargo or pet pickup area)

You usually get this information before you leave or soon after your booking is confirmed.

Step 2: Prepare Before Arrival

Before heading to the airport, make sure you have:

A valid government-issued ID
Your puppy’s tracking or reference number
A leash and/or small blanket for comfort
Your phone available for communication

Get to the airport about 30 to 60 minutes after the plane lands. It doesn’t take long to get through everything.

Step 3: Go to the Correct Pickup Location

Don’t bother going to the baggage claim area at the passenger terminal.

Instead, proceed to:

The Air Cargo Facility OR
The Airline’s Pet Pickup Area

We’ll make sure to give you the exact address and directions ahead of time, so you can find your way easily.

Step 4: Check In With Airline Staff

At the cargo/pet pickup office:
