Health Guarantee & Sales Agreement | Vom Momarina

we take immense pride in the health, temperament, and genetic integrity of our AKC Belgian Malinois. We stand firmly behind our breeding program, ensuring every puppy receives the best possible start in life through healthy parents, proper nutrition, early socialization, and veterinary care.

1. Breeder Health Commitments

Every Vom Momarina puppy is backed by the following core guarantees upon transfer to the buyer:

  • Purebred AKC Guarantee: We guarantee that the puppy is a purebred Belgian Malinois, registered or eligible for registration with the American Kennel Club (AKC).

  • Parental Orthopedic Clearances: The sire (Kal Vom Momarina – OFA67G / OFEL67) and dam (Xena Vom Momarina – OFA53E / OFEL53) have undergone official OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) hip and elbow evaluations to minimize the risk of hereditary joint dysplasia.

  • Current Medical Care: At the time of departure (8 weeks or older), your puppy will be up to date on age-appropriate core vaccinations (Parvovirus, Distemper) and preventative parasite treatments (deworming).

2. Initial Health Guarantee (72-Hour Exam Window)

  1. Buyer Examination Requirement: The buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 business hours of receiving the puppy (whether via local pickup or nationwide transport).

  2. Infectious Disease Coverage: If the examining veterinarian discovers a severe, life-threatening illness or genetic/congenital defect within this 72-hour window, the buyer must notify Vom Momarina immediately with a detailed written report signed by the attending veterinarian.

  3. Resolution: Upon official confirmation of the medical condition by our veterinary team, the buyer may return the puppy to Vom Momarina for a replacement puppy of equal value from the next available litter.

3. Two-Year Genetic Health & Orthopedic Guarantee

We provide a 2-year guarantee (valid until the dog reaches 24 months of age) protecting against severe genetic disorders:

A. Genetic & Hip/Elbow Coverage

This guarantee specifically covers life-altering congenital defects and severe, debilitating hip/elbow dysplasia that renders the dog unable to perform as a functional active companion or working candidate.

  • Diagnosis Requirement: Hip or elbow dysplasia must be officially certified by an OFA or PennHIP evaluation radiograph submitted before the dog’s 2nd birthday.

  • Exclusions: This guarantee does not cover injuries, environmental trauma, accidental fractures, poor nutrition, over-exercise during growth phases, or weight management issues (obesity) caused by buyer neglect.

4. Buyer Responsibilities for Maintaining the Guarantee

To keep this Health Guarantee active and valid, the buyer agrees to adhere to the following care standards:

  • Ongoing Veterinary Care: Provide routine wellness exams, maintain up-to-date core vaccinations, rabies shots, and preventative parasite treatments.

  • Appropriate Diet & Weight Control: Feed a high-quality, age-appropriate food formulated for active/large breeds. Keep the puppy at a lean, healthy weight to avoid excess stress on growing joints.

  • Controlled Physical Activity: Avoid high-impact jumping, hard forced running on concrete, or intense physical conditioning until the puppy’s growth plates have closed (typically around 12 to 18 months of age).

5. Lifetime Breeder Support & Return Policy

We are committed to every dog we produce for their entire lifespan.

  • Lifetime Support: Breeder Mary Ndiaye offers lifelong guidance on training, care, and working/active lifestyle advice for your Belgian Malinois.

  • No-Shelter Guarantee: If at any point in the dog’s life you are unable to keep your Vom Momarina Belgian Malinois, you agree to contact us. Our dogs must never be surrendered to an animal shelter or rescue group. We will assist in rehoming or taking the dog back.
